As a certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse with a certification from the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB), I have been providing successful ostomy care results in the Denver-metro area since 2015 (in pediatric and adult facilities) and practicing as a registered nurse for over 15 years.
Hi, I’m Amie Moore, a certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse dedicated to helping patients feel confident and supported as they navigate healing and life with an ostomy. I’m passionate about providing personalized care, answering questions, and teaching practical skills that empower patients and families to become independent in their care and get back to doing what they love.
I am certified via the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) and have I have been practicing as a registered nurse since 2010 in California, New York, Colorado, Texas and Washington in a variety of settings before settling back in my home state of Michigan. I am excited for the opportunity to be a part of OstomyRN and provide ostomy education and troubleshooting to clients in Michigan.
